Visit to Noto Peninsula, earthquake affected area

From July 21st to 23rd, our volunteers visited the earthquake-affected areas of the Noto Peninsula. The photo covers Wajima's Asaichi-dori district, followed by Fukuura Port - Kuroshima Town (traditional townscape preservation area) - Wajima City - Suzu City. There was not much damage in the Fukuura Port area at the base of the peninsula, but as we got closer to the tip, the damage became more severe and I was shocked at how bad it was. Moreover, we can barely hear the footsteps of recovery, let alone reconstruction, so what on earth is the country doing? ! I also felt angry. As we approached Wajima's morning market street, we happened to bump into the Minister of the Environment's inspection, but what? ! By now? ! That's what I thought. However, I would like to thank the people in charge of the reconstruction of Wajima City for taking the time to provide us with a simple reconstruction proposal, and for responding so carefully despite their busy schedules.
